Join us on this exclusive photo expedition of a lifetime. One of the largest concentrations of the world’s remaining polar bears congregates around the small town of Churchill during every year, in early to mid-fall.
Hudson Bay freezes earlier in the year than any other comparable area of water in the Arctic Ocean, due to its geographical position. Polar bears that have fasted for most of the summer are eager to start hunting seals on newly formed pack ice.
In order to maximize photo opportunities, we will be working from both our exclusively chartered Tundra
Buggy and 4x4 private vehicles. We visit different areas terrain-wise, and so our two means of transportations provide us with added flexibility. Our 4x4 driver-guides have special permits that allow them to enter the Wildlife Management Area.
